Has anyone got a CoV trial code left?

I am thinking that if I get a trial code, I can get the client through that, then just add that to me sub, and actually not pay anything out....

I hope.

Unfortunately, you can't. Unlike the CoH sidekick code, the CoV trials are just trials, so you still have to buy a serial code after they finish.

The cheapest places have it for £14.99, which isn't that bad when you consider it includes a month's subscription. But the cheapest places (game and blahdvd) also appear to be out of stock. Play.com have it in stock for £17.99. Meanwhile, Gameplay are listing a double edition of city of heroes and city of villains for £12.99, but that doesn't actually exist yet. It is coming, but it hasn't officially been announced, so no idea when it'll actually be released. Or if it'll actually be that price.

However, I suspect the single edition may have been pulled because of the upcoming double edition, so I suspect it won't come back into stock at the cheaper places. But it should also get cheaper due to the double edition as that gets closer/is actually released.

So I'd either get it now for £17.99 from play, or, wait a bit to see what happens with this double edition and the prices. I'd suggest waiting a bit, and using a trial code to have CoV for a couple of weeks and see what happens in the meantime (I should have a trial code somewhere - will have to have a rummage for it).

There's also someone selling it 'brand new/sealed' on Amazon marketplace for £9.99 + P&P.

That's the one I mentioned before, that doesn't actually exist yet. While it has been confirmed as coming, NCSoft haven't officially announced details yet, so it may be a while, and it may not be that price.
