Looking for opinions on this Anti-Cheat stuff

Cheaters are lower then low on this earth.
Why cheat? Is it that funny to run around the fields without getting shot?
If they wanna cheat, go use the cheats in single player mode but don't come online whit them...unless you start you own server that says you are running cheats in the name of the server.
Those losers show up in every game online, taking away the fun for others. Tools against them won't help for long, best is to all start shooting at the cheater till he leaves or stop playing till he leaves. (if he can't be kicked at the time).

So how can you tell someones cheating?

You only cheat yourself.  I have never used any cheats, and if i think someone is, i try to humiliate them.......... pistol and then club them. I can see no point. If i join a server with people running cheats  i leave.  This is the reason i enjoy the company of Hamster's and R.o.W's

The reason they cheat is because they are selfish people and rather
than put in the effort to get good they take the selfish way and cheat.
Cheaters, Spawnkiller and Team killers what a waste of space.
I hope they get their Karma  
maybe their partners will cheat on them  

Still when they cheat and still get beaten it must really hurt   haha

There's no doubt that everyone here feels the same animosity to real cheaters, but it's interesting to hear that some people call new scopes cheating (personally I've only seen cosmetic improvements but let's see what Wolverine posts later). Others have said that key bindings and skins are unfair.  Another good one is blood - These mods make it easier to spot ambush points - it even points this out in the readme files - So it's another cheat - right?

As far as I'm concerned, these 'enhancements' are in easy reach to everyone, and therefore I don't mind playing anyone with them as their advantage is not so great that a good player can't still win the day.

The issue as far as I'm concerned, is identifying aimbots or X-Ray vision cheats, and how you can prove this is the case whilst you are playing against them is vital before they are clubbed with malice.  I don't see how you can club a cheat anyway as his aimbot will just beat you to it.
I understand the sentiment though, they do need clubbing to death, but give me a choice, and I'd rather do over a Team Killer - Don't get me started there!

Your right there are game enhancements and cheats
its a thin line between the two.

I think the blood mod is ok,
after all if you shoot someone they will bleed.
and you need a aim dot to see where your fireing.
Tiedie skins and football kits are a cheat.
cant imagine anyone going in to battle with one of them on.
but then you move on to the ridiculas these people arnt playing the same game as us.

we use camo to hide in bushes.
we hide behind doors.
but they dont, they see through walls even shoot through them.
and dont even see bushes.
Imagine playing snowy park when someone has the cheats shown
Here what chance do you stand ?
a good sniper could sit on a platform and kill everyone on the map
without even being seen.

they are just after high scores not a evening playing a relistic WW2 game.
It saddens me to think this scum is ruining our game.

i thought these games were for fun....I dont think I`ll ever understand some people...(and I have met an awful lot of characters in my time too..)

what i am saying is this, those so called cosmetic improvements to scopes actually give an advantage over the stock scopes thus.

With your own little laser dot scope (incidentally this wasnt around during WW2) you can pick someone out at a longer distance and "put the dot on the target" to give you a damn good chance of killing them, however if u use the stock scopes then u get a set of indicators, not a dot and aiming isnt as easy.

Thats why i think that custom scopes should be banned....

1. They arent Authentic
2. They give a distinct advantage at longer distances
3. They are an addin which people DO NOT disclose.

Just my 2 pence, 99% of ya will disagree, but hey! c'est la vie....

Don't disagree, but the vast majority of scope mods have no laser.
I saw/tried a laser dot mod several months ago, thought it was worthless and binned it. However I have seen lots of nice green or blue tint scopes that still only give crosshairs. Not easier to use, just easier on the eye.

I mean the types of scopes which have a dot in the middle, not just the standard indicators without a central dot. I didnt mean laser dots as a specific.... that way midleading and i apologise.

I just tried the laser dot one tonight and I think it's a disadvantage. The dot is actually bigger than the standard 'tip of a point' indicator and obscures the target. Well - IMHO that is.

I tried some scope mods and they all have their pros & cons over the standard scope.

I found it difficult with the red dot as sometimes obscured the target.  The standard scope has a clear advantage here.  However I suffer with the standard scope when targets are in dark places or against dark backgrounds as I sometimes can`t see the cross hairs over the gloom.  Thats where the dot has its advantage.

After trying several scope mods I`m back with the original...none of them can make me shoot straight
