MOHAA shortcut tip

A handy tip to get you onto the hamsterservers as quick as possible! Copy your MOHAA shortcut onto your desktop, rename the copy "Hamster1" and then type the following under "Target" :

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\MOHAA.exe" +set cl_playintro 0 +connect 213.221.175.225:29967[/list:u]That way you can doubleclick the shortcut and it will start MOHAA and connect you to hamsterserver.com-1 immediately. Bit of a timesaver there!

You can set up a second shortcut for hamsterserver.com-2 by copying the shortcut & changing the IP to 213.221.175.68:29960

Hi,

Maybe you can help me. I am busy config a dedicated MOHAA server and I am trying to change the net_port of the game too 29963. But when i start it up and type net_port in the console it get net_port "12203" latched 29963?.

This is what i got in my serverXX.cfg file:

seta sv_maxclients "24"
seta g_gametype 4
seta sv_minping "0"
seta sv_maxping "500"
seta g_teamdamage "1"
seta sv_gamespy "0"
seta sv_allowDownload "0"
seta net_port "29963"

Try adding...

+set net_port 29963

...to the command line that starts the server, in the manner described above by the Flight Lieutenant and see what you get?

My tip is just for setting up a shortcut to run MOHAA, not to run a server... someone here will be able to help you though, I'm sure. Anyone?
