hamsterserver.com is now in the process of being served from www.nethosted.co.uk

The gradwell copy and the nethosted copy are both looking at the gradwell database until all nameservers have had chance to catch up. One side effect of the move is that ircstats dont work on the new copy just yet - i've refrained from creating the subdomain on the new host so i could check when things had moved over.

Until all nameservers have updated, there may be the odd issue here and there.

Tricky

I've packed the sunflower seeds. They're in the fifth box from the back of the truck, on the left, just under the box marked 'Danger - Explosives' that P-Dub packed. Can everyone make sure that they've got something to read for the journey please.

P-Dub

Whatever you do, DO NOT kick that box, its a errrrr ummmmm specialist watercooling kit for  errrrr ummmm a toaster... or something, look just dont kick it, it wont fit in your cheeks, nor is it a toy.... but boy will it be fun to play with.... :P

where is my fluffy stashed on the truck?
canÃÆ'ââ,¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ,´t move without my fluffy....!

I've noticed that not all nameservers have updated yet.. If you have a {HamsteR} logo as your pic in the forums and it's not there, you're still looking at gradwell ;)

|fury|

The site is now running entirely off nethosted. If you have any access problems where it's still sending you to gradwell, the http redirect i've set up over there will fire you in this direction on a temporary address.

The temporary address causes problems for absolute urls off the webroot though, so that explains the missing images on the front page, if you're wondering :)

I know for a fact that eclipse's dns servers have still not updated, and if you're in the same boat, it might be worth prodding your isp to make sure their nameservers are behaving - it resolved to the new address 2-3 days ago for me at work ;)

Any other problems/errors with the site, please let me know - i may have missed something (again)

Great work Jon. As for DNS issues. That's why I run my own DNS server. I use not forwarders either. My server checks root-servers itself when needed. And of course I run some domains on my own DNS servers so no hassle to update records when needed. The domain-registring company was so kind to slave needed zones from my DNS server.

i wouldn't have expected any less from you Ricsi :D
