Hamster Server 2 Problems?

For the last three days when i attempt to cnnect to Hamster Server 2 using Gamespy it doesnt happen.  It comes up with a server connection timeout.

Can anyone help me with this (I have the maps and have no probs connecting to other hamster servers).  Usually it shows 0 people as playing or sometines 1 person playign but it only displays a single ? in the game data.

Any helpful advice appreciated as I am a subsriber for HS2 and am a bit confused atm.

Not had any problems here, though hammie-2 has been a bit quiet of late.
Try downloading ASE and see if you get the same problems?
Are you on a dial-up connection? If your ping's a bit high, it might not be connecting.
If when you try to connect you get booted off straight away, bring up the console and scroll up a few lines, you should see the reason why (high ping, map missing etc).

Whats ASE and where do i get it?

I'm on broadband and my ping is geneally 35-50 when playing on our Barrysworld servers.

I tried the 'reconnect' method two nights ago and no joy- I've been forced to hang out on some of the other Hammy servers but I miss the others who used to play on HS2 (If its been quiet lately maybe other people are having similar probs connecting using gspy)?

I keep getting disconnected or timed out.  Why has it suddenly got so hard to get on???  I have 1mb connection and all maps ???

Also make sure your player name when you connect is not UnnamedSoldier as the autokicker will instantly boot you off!

ASE is All Seeing Eye, just like Gamespy but better in many opinions.
