It's due out soon, and i noticed today that it seems it might be coming out on DVD... it's about time!

shame my dvd drive is in my other pc though

P-Dub

I got 2 of them, sorted for running a server..... no doubt there'll be a standalone ded server pack included or available for download....

It requires min spec cpu 1.0GHz with 128MB RAM and 3.5GB hard drive space :-o

BigBazza

UT2004 is UT2003 with more good bits.  Which explains the large amounts of space it requires.

/me wubs his 160gig hard drive :D

Lot

Well, at least it comes on a DVD disc instead of a dozen CD-ROMs. :D

/me wonders how many CD-ROMs it takes to fill 3.5GB.

Just had a poke around the Atari forums and it seems 5 maybe even 6 cd-roms would be the answer to that.

I think that deserves a "blimey"  :D

Calibrax

one word.... vehicles!

ut2k3 wasnt shy in nicking tons of disk space either. I guess it must be down to the textures. Personally i'd rather it take up a few gig and run as well as it does than take up less space and run like a dog ;)

Deuce

Will existing UT2003 maps run on this ?????

rover

i thought the was a mod coming out for all the ut2003 players to up date it to ut2004 as the only big addition is as cal said vehicels
and some new map's

Trivulator

Oy now we have train our wrist again for shooting P-Dub to pieces ;-)

Yeah i do remember there was an upgrade option mentioned for existing ut2003 owners rover. I've not seen anything about it yet though...
