Did anyone else experience mohaa crashing shortly after loading each new map last night? :?
I noticed that whenever I started a new map there would be a large number of frozen soldiers from my side at the various spawn points. As i could hear gunfire and see messages appear on screen I knew I was still connected but approx 30 secs after starting each map mohaa crashed.

Dont get me started on all the Spawn killing that was going on  especially on the Prado Villoage map oh vey

{HamsteR}Blue

my maps would'nt even load !!!
when they did i got frozen soldiers too,  i even got doors that stay closed yet i can still walk through them !

all this has been happening for the last two or three days.

SOLOman - prado was a nightmare.

I don't think it helped when it was suggested to switch sides that only half the axis did so  - with that many axis vs a handful of allies it was only going to make prado worse than ever as the nazi hoarde descended the hillside.

I'm just sorry i didn't think about switching back to try and even things out (not that i make much difference on my own   ) until the farm

anguillle

soloman its all a hamster server thing you are to good in the play so one of the admins let you stand still for a while so they [ and i ] could move further to you lol

Jon I know I was one of the Axis who didn't swap sides(until Swanny pointed out that I should of) but the reason for this is simple. I DIDN'T know I was supposed to. There was no message or anything else, so how am I and presumably the others to know that we're not Nazi's or Allies but Italians and therefore supposed to swap sides occasionally.

Calibrax

a couple of us kept saying SWITCH SIDES.... you need to read what people are saying in the game (top left of your screen)  :P

Indeed. I  requested this 9 times on Prado and Spikey asked a few times too. The only member of the (then allies) team who didn't swap to axis was SCOOBY and he said he'd swap once the allies had enough players - well played Scooby! It wasn't just new subbies that didn't switch - I can think of one rather senior {HamsteR} who was a little too attached to his axis weapon to switch sides or look at the messages

Next time I suggest this then I'll sort out defined teams and we will hopefully be using voice comms.

Oh and the spawn killing on Prado was nothing short of disgraceful! I could name at least 3 people with the {HamsteR} tag that had sniper rifles pointed at the back of the allied trucks and shot peeps instantly. Not acceptable even though the map encourages it (and the team balance or lack of it didn't help).

Conversely on The Farm : does it really take four people to defend the bomb in the grain silo while the Allies are in the house and the barn setting the other bombs? FFS - there is only one entrance to the silo where the bomb is! How many peeps does it take????

So - moral of story : keep an eye on the messages, hold down the TAB key once in a while to see the team balance and play fairly? I have been on the Allied side before on Prado and it is not fun spawning in the truck, jumping out and being shot (repeat until bored senseless).

Thursday night's obj game was the worst that I have ever played on a hamsterserver - the only fun I had was when anguillle and I started killing each other on GWN and then carried it over to Prado (good fun mate!).

cripes rizla do you ever sleep?

The messages can be missed easily sometimes, and i guess with a little bad luck you could miss them all.

It isn't a witch hunt, and if we can all learn from this experience then things will hopefully be better next time ;)

I think half of my problem is i spend *too much* time reading and typing  :P  i got shot on at least 2 occasions that night whilst reading something someone had put up and not concentrating on what was around the next corner

Tigger

Sorry folks, to busy concertrating on the screen to see ALL the messages that pop up, as consol has to be enabled for the password so I couldn't back check. Also when we left prado I looked to see if peeps had changed sides (couldn't tell either way) but as allies were undermanned I stayed with them.
When we play again why not in the forum post with the password just put it with it i.e Password is ~~~~~~ and make sure you change sides after every map.
Looking forward to coms, perhaps sides should be Ham5 vs Ham9, just to get a bit of friendly rivalry going

adslrizla

It certainly isn't a witch hunt Jon but at times there were more messages coming up about teams than there were about deaths

Oh and the last posting was done by my ModBot ÃÆ'ââ,¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ,©ÃÆ'ââ,¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ,®

Quote from: roveri stayed as allies all night on ham5
That's good because I stayed as Axis all night. We can both wear halos now :D
