SH Problems

Hi,

This is posted on behalf of TheRock.
In SH the other players are bobbing up and down very fast, which makes in difficult for him to shoot them

Also when Ian is standing still the sound of his equipment rattling is still happening.

Has anyone got any ideas what could be causing these problem

Any help would be great

What the hell is he on?    I want me some.... Or perhaps the players are doing the Hamster dance. It's a traditional dance where players make random leaps and unpredictable movements in an attempt to amuse other players.    Ask Spikey about that - he's the dancing king/queen.  

Also when Ian is standing still the sound of his equipment rattling is still happening.  <-- Sounds like he's scared. Try some amphetamines and he'll soon be ok.

Seriously, I have no idea. When did he install the game? (Did this always happen or has it only started to happen, or is it a new installation?) Has he installed any mods at all lately? Has he tried a reinstall?

He has added no mods, this has been happening since he first installed it. Thats why he dosen't play SH very often, it's very difficult to play.

I was going to do a re-install today, so i'll let you know the out  come

I've got the same problem when playing SH.
People disapear under the floor and when I walk I can't hear footsteps (they seem to come up with me when I stand still   )
First I didn't have these kinda probs, but the came all the sudden.
First thought it was because I was playing a rather slow server, but I have the same probs on HS1 and RoW server

Also having probs when entering a server, I first have to remove all the MOHAA maps and mods and replace the maps I need for MOHSH.
Had this prob since the beginning of SH.

Maybe it's time for a new update?

Right, i think i've sorted this problem out

I did the repair for Sh and it seems to be running as it should be, but when Ian gets home i'll give you his verdict

ive heard of this before but the thing ive heard is when someone is binding there keys tell him to check keys because people also class this as cheating. cant see why though

And it wasn't because of key binding

Right, thought i'd fixed this with the repair, but I didn't.

I un-installed SH, put patch on and it was fine

Uhh maybe I am missing out on something here, but if you uninstall SH, how can it be patched or even work gaian?
