{HamsteR} vs {R.O.W} Game Result 10/1/03

The first friendly match of the year between {ROW} and {HamsteR} was played last night and we'd like to thank ROW for hosting and playing a great game. All the Hamsters enjoyed it immensely and can't wait for the next match. Thanks also to 2toes and TheGhost for stepping in and subbing for the Hamster team.

4 scoring matches were held overall and 4 other non-scoring matches were held inbetween to use up the time (they were all just as hard fought though by both sides!). Tricky and Piglet pistol-whipped to decide who chose teams and after Piglet stopped hiding in the bushes, Tricky had bacon for dinner.   Photographer: JonH - This is apparently Piglet's last millisecond of life as a pistol whipper.

The matches were all very hard-fought and the rest of the screenshots are here. Although Hamster won overall, the ROW team put up a good fight and were no walkover.

We had a few technical hitches - a couple of Hamsters had severe teamspeak problems and 2toes's PC crashed right at the end of one game taking him and the teamspeak server out of the game, just when we needed to warn two of the team where the last remaining ROW player was - there were a few tense moments in the Hamster camp then!

So well done to the Hamster team! The total when counting all games was Hamster 8 - 4 ROW.

May I ad that both teams played well and coverd eachothers @$$ verry good.

Thought that the TS problems we had caused by 2toes connection dropped out, but might be wrong bout that.
