MOHAA Server & Gamespy

Hi all,

I have a problem. I need to know which ports to open on my MOHAA server to allow Gamespy. I have tried all the ports that
Gamespy told me but still no luck. I don't use a router,Firewall, Virus scanner. I hope someone can help me coz i am ready to throw out the server   !.

According to the manual you need the following ports for gamespy.
6667
3783
27900
28900
29900
29901
13139
6515

You'll also need this "seta sv_gamespy "1"" in your server.cfg file

for incoming connections, these are the only two ports that the server listens on. (unless you change it)

If you 'don't use a router,Firewall, Virus scanner' what are you attempting to open ports in?

Well i am using W2K and i got all my port closed so you can say it's a firewall (ish). but i have opened all the port that GS told me and also what MOHAA needs and nothing works. MOHAA keeps crashing after 30 minuts for no reason. it's p.ss me off but same sh.t differante day. But thx for all your support. Oh and Hamster Rulez.

Have the same problem with the crashes sometimes.
I am running WinXP and blaim it on that, tried several drivers, but the one I am using now works best.
Anyone else has that problem? Also with WinXP or other O/S as well?

I am using a 64Mb EvilKyro card, cheap but good.

Well good news. I just opened all ports and solved the problem. The only little things is that the server crashes after you login with the rcon and then leave the game. but that is a minor prob, but i have a question for u all at Hamster.

Can someone tell me how to turn of realisme on a dedicated server.

turn off realism?

if you are running CKR/CPR, rename or remove the .pk3 file for the mod (eg: .pk3_ )

restart the server and it'll no longer be running the mod.

Yes i was but i have found it. I was using the Hamster No rocket pk3 file after i have delete realisme was off. I was specailly made for me coz i wanted 6 grenades.
