LAN Party

A friend of mine is planning a small 4-5 player lan party and i've convinced him we should be playing mohaa

the maps that come with the game should be ok but i was thinking of taking some custom maps with me too.. bearing in mind i've not played many small maps i was wondering if people could give me the benefit of their experience.

I think so far i have german winter's night, skirmish, small city and sniper snow as definites, but i think the shortlist is something like:

TDM
Frozen Fortress
German Winter's Night
Hide & Seek 2
Skirmish 3
Small City
Sniper Snow
Tunisian Village FE

OBJ
Courtyard
Das Boot
Normandy Bridge
Cathedral Charge
Push City Hall

I want maps that are going to help convert these quake and cs zealots to the way of the mohaa so they need to be good I'd appreciate any feedback/suggestions!!

All of the maps you listed are good for a small match... my particular favourite of these is Small City.

Also I'd take the latest version of Thunder... probably the best map in MOHAA. Not to play... it's a bit big for 4-5 players, but just to show them. It's damned impressive!

Hegensdorf and Courtyard Crossfire spring to mind.

Anyway why don't you just shove all the pk3's in your \main directory on a CDR and dump that onto their machines then you can play anything you want.

i'm not the world's biggest fan of hegensdorf, but i suppose it's only fair to let them make their own minds up
