Where's the Save Game option?....

So I've been messing around with GTA:IV and GTA:IV ELC, specifically The Ballad of Gay Tony.  I finish a mission last night at go to find the save option, um... As far as I can see there isn't one.  Theres an Auto Save (and god knows when that fires) but I don't see an option to save when I want to.  I just loaded it up again today and the save point is beck two missions before I quit.  Tell me theres is a save option somewhere, because I don't see myself playing a second more of any of these games without one.

You have to go to a safe house and have a kip. That saves the game.

ummm if you play as niko then yes it does say how to save the game by going to bed (also just in case you get red dead its the same on there)
