Race Driver: Grid

Mostly this week I have been driving around in Codemasters latest racing game - Race Driver: Grid

And I have to say after getting used to the damage model system in the game, its actually pretty darn good.

I even made a video of me driving (again)

It's only the last lap of a 3 lap race (otherwise it would have pushed the filesize from 50MB to 143MB ). And yes I did win the race, despite my car having a couple of minor dents in the bodywork, but a few minutes with a hammer will have those dents out no probs, wont notice them guv...

I now have this game. I am very good at spinning cars in circles at high speeds. Not so good at corners but I'm working at it.

It does take a bit of getting used to... the handling is very "arcadey", especially if you're used to PGR4/Forza2 handling. But stick with it, once you do get used to it, it's really good. That said, I'm probably not gonna be buying it (unless I can pick it up on fleabay very cheap), as I don't really need any more racing games. I do have Colin McRae:DiRT, which is bloody good...

I've been playing the guts out of the Demo. Wicked fun! The graphics are pretty sweet (if a little blurry as per the norm).

I'm really considering buying this thing.
