Thinking about doing the whole shebang on BF, obviously BF has VOIP built in and was thinking about a mic and headset.

What do you guys recommend and also is it worth it ????????

There's a thread on AG with suggestions

I used to use a cheapo headset+mic from game when we used to use teamspeak on mohaa, but then i got my zalman 6ch headphones so no combined set for me any more :D  I have one of those cheapo mics (again from game, in teh sale) but i've never actually got round to using it..

rofl and if you follow that AG link, someone links to the very headphones you were looking at, but at play.com where they're ÃÆ'ââ,¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ,£39.99 delivered instead of ÃÆ'ââ,¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ,£59.99+del @ firebox

I had those.
They worked ok, until the little amp box doobrey expired. Would have returned it, but before I got round to it a rat chewed through the headphone cable. :hammertime:

It was quite a while ago I had them, so my memory's a bit fuzzy. I only used the microphone a couple of times, as I remember it was ok, but not great. I didn't spend a lot of time tweaking it though.

As headphones, the surround sound worked well while it worked at all. :)  They were quite comfy too.

But when I came to get a replacement, I went for a Trust 5.1 headset (without microphone) so I can't have been that impressed with this set. ;)
Cave Cricetum! :hammering:
