Due to recent issues with older versions of pnphpbb and php in general, we need to upgrade the whole site to the latest releases of postnuke and PNphpBB asafp (no dub i will not turn to the dark side and consider an asp solution :P )

As luck would have it, it has become apparant after testing version .750 of postnuke against our current forum version and theming engine that many things are due to break in a big way. I am currently working on a 'holding' theme that will work on pn750 and PNphpBB 1.2g so we can continue in relative normality following the upgrade.

I'm making an advance announcement on this upgrade because the site will have to come down for some time whilst i perform the upgrade and i'm not sure when i'll be able to do it - hopefully it won't be a surprise now when you come in one day and can't get anywhere :P

As for the long-term plans for this site, I am still mulling over a few possible changes in direction regarding what software we use. At this point in time, there is no intention or desire to change what {HamsteR} is or what we stand for, I'm just considering whether we need to change the flavour of icing we put on the cake ;)

As always, if you have any concerns, suggestions or thoughts, please feel free to get in touch - I'm always willing to listen to what you have to say

Good luck |Fury| hope it goes ok.

Site has now been upgraded to postnuke 0.750 and pnphpbb 1.2g. this means custom titles have gone again i'm afraid. I'll re-code the hack in at some point, just don't hold your breath :P

I've had to rebuild forum and site themes to fit the new versions, so there may be the odd goof in the stylesheet. Please let me know if you experience anything odd other than random session errors - i'm sorry i can't do much about those!

One thing to be aware of, is that some of the buttons seem to have moved around a little bit (i preferred where they were before!) so be careful when you're clicking ;)

Finally, If i've not converted a theme you used to use, let me know and i'll see what i can do.

Sorry to the 5 of you that selected pnDefault only to find i hadn't enabled xanthia :D

I've removed the theme and reset your profiles so you're using the default again (but you kinda guessed that last bit seing as you can see the site again) All the other themes are safe to use (i hope!)

Well Fury, things look good now. I guess a little work still has to be done. But anyways: thx for the good work m8!
