Help im stuck

i've got up on the roof of the hospital.
killed all the baddies.
theres just the bloody helicopter to sort out now.
i've blasted hell out of him and run out of ammo  
hes got sparks coming out of his engines and it looked like i shot some tanks off from under his sticky out bits, but the bugger still wont come down  
thought about waiting for him to run out of fuel but thats no fun , i want to see him crash and burn.
even the m60 didnt bother him
anyone beaten him yet?????????????
help me please

Hope this isnt too late for you, got him last night,.

what you do is....

run around using the m60? and get the copter postioned betwwen the 2 pillons, bomb the pillons, will put one engine on fire. then run around again, etc. the senstive part on thecopter is where the propellers are, on the side you will see one red area, on the other an area marked in yellow, this is what you have got to hit. took me nearly 3 hours but got  it in the end. the level finshes then, then off the some snow.

i tried to do it again and blew him up straight away.
since then i've moved in to the snowy bit. think things are getting tricky now  
glad your a head of me , now i know who to ask when im stuck

I'm at the checkpoint i think
just blew up the electric thing
freed two siencetists
one of them is running around , had to shoot the other  
theres another one stuck under a gerder
there a train in this room,
when i walk in he says"looks like this train isnt going anywhere"
what the hell am i suposed to do now?????????
been back over this level loads now
I'm stuck help please

If its the bit Im thinkin of, you have to unhook the train from the rest of the carriages and then jump aboard, start her up and ram through the doors.
