Modern Warfare ( MOHAA )

I thought you guys might be interested in this new mod for MOHAA.

You might have heard about this already, but if not I have these details from M.a.B.

I think the download is like 95 meg or so..

Modern Warfare is a Modern Total Conversion Modification for Medal Of Honor Allied Assault. Modern Warfare was designed with a main goal of bringing the present day modern warfare weapons and a modern atmosphere with the Mohaa feel and game play. Designed by modders from the Mohaa community, Modern Warfare promises to deliver the same heart stopping action with the added effects of the modern battlefield. Designed a few weeks before "Operation Iraqi Freedom" gamers will have an opportunity to use similar weapons and fight similar enemies as soldiers in the Iraq War.

Now for the installation instructions..

First of all you need to download the mod, For this you have two choices

You need only download 1 of the 2

1 - Modern Warfare Mod in zip format

2 - Modern Warfare Mod Self installing exe
http://www.mab.me.uk/maps/mohaa/Mods/modern-warfare/mw_1.0_setup.exe

In either case is is extremely important that you know this mod will only run with a completely clean MOHAA main folder

If you dont have a clean main folder I recommend you use a program such as Tatakai File Mover ( http://software.tatakai.co.uk/TCFM.shtml)  and then take the following steps,
1) Clean up your folder
2) Make a duplicate of your clean main folder and call it something like "main_modwar"
3) Put your custom maps etc back into your normal main,
4) Rename your normal main folder to something like "main_normal"
5) Rename your "main_modwar" back to "main"
6) Follow the install instructions for the file you downloaded below
You can then switch between this new mod and the normal version of MOHAA you play by simply renaming the folder you wish to use back to "main" and the one you dont to something different.

Instructions if you downloaded the Zip Version
Once you are sure you have a clean main folder (meaning a completely standard install, NO Custom maps, mods, or scopes)
1) Open the modern-warfare-final.zip with WinZip or a similar program and click 'extract'.
2) Browse to your mohaa\main folder. Choose 'All Files' and make sure 'Use Folder Names' is selected.
That's all, start mohaa and you're good to go

Instructions if you downloaded the Self installing exe Version
Once you are sure you have a clean main folder (meaning a completely standard install, NO Custom maps, mods, or scopes)
Run the exe, follow the step-by-step instructions and That's all, start mohaa and you're good to go.

The IP of the server this is running on = 212.42.10.148:12203

And the current map rotation is a standard one including the 2 new ones that come with this mod.

BTW, you do have to have MOHAA patched up to the current level (1.1)
