I have ( after patching up to the curent 1.30 ) and have a couple of observations,

First it's a pretty cool game  :) .

Nice graphics, sounds and the control are pretty straightforward.

Using ASE and my *cough* dialup connection, I still had no problem with lag at all  :D .

On the minus side ( and you knew there had to be one   ), not a lot of servers or players, although the guys I was on with last night were great, friendly and very helpful ( always a plus).

Here is the one thing that really drove me nuts though. We were playing co-operative on the ambush map. You had to walk for friggin' miles to see any VC and when you finally got there and got in to a fire fight, if you got killed, which happens with alarming regularity, you were put back at the original spawn location   .
This means that you have now got a long, long, LONG walk ahead of you to get back into the action.
I don't know how any of the other maps work or the other styles as I didn't play them. Has anyone else tried this out and what are your comments?
This really has the makings of a cool concept ( after all who among us doesn't wanna go out and kick some VC butt  :P ) But I'd like to hear from some other people before I pass judgement or invest any of my very limited time on it.

Isnt Battlefield Vietnam due out soon?  I reckon that will kick Vietcong's ass allover.

Ive tried vietcong a few times, and the SP was ok, but wasnt too fussed on MP.

Which is a shame really.
