HS-4 Tonight -- Epic TDM -- Players wanted!

{HamsteR}Flt. Lt. Charles Bradshaw (now Calibrax ) found an interesting new map called Epic DM - a few of us played it last night and thought it was pretty darned good. So, following Rizla's suggestion and in the tradition before hamsterserver.com-5 appeared - a private TDM (team death match) shall be organised for this evening on HS-4 accomodating 16-players plus myself on the local LAN (therotecially totalling 17-players for those that are mathematically challenged! ).

The purpose of the match tonight is for all to try the map, see what they think of it. Also, as we can't get it on hamsterserver.com-5 immediately due to the delays in getting maps loaded on the server - and we know you'd all like to play this map - tonight is an early opportunity for you to play the map.

For those that do not know, HS-4 is dual-ADSL ported. A normal ADSL 512/256kbps TCP/IP connection can host 8-10 players depending on the server capped connection rate. With two ADSL connections, the player limit is thus 16-20 players The optimum connection rate is for 16-players so that is the limit for tonight.

Post your names below if you wish to play -- the match will kick-off at 21:00hrs tonight for minimum 1 hour duration, lasting as long as the fun does! I will post IP/port assignments by player name at 20:00 hrs -- feel free to connect to HS-4 anytime today to try out the map - I'm leaving it running all day so those that have the opportunity can have a look around the map.

HS-4 will be password protected from 20:30 hrs - the password will be posted publicly so anyone joining the game without prior notice may be given if they overload the ADSL connections i.e. did not get a prior IP address assignment.

Tonights match is open to all registered forum users -- it is not restricted only to {HamsteR}s.

Yep, definitely count me in... I have yet to see the map in action! If it plays as good as it looks, then we're in for a treat!
