Any body help with XP shutting down?

For some reason XP shuts me down mid game online

the screen apperas blue and the message is detailed giving me a load of numbers what look like registation entries

then I have to reboot to get the system back on

windows then tells me theres a problem with my IP address
not being the computer wizard most of you lot seem to be, my best attempt to give any more info is to show you this :
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini061202-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\Mark\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml

This shows up when windows resumes and it wants me to post it to microsoft.

Any ideas guy's it's really frustrating

Don't worry about it -- XP and certain XP Office applications detects operating system and software faults then they try to report the details to the M$ mother ship. Put another way, it's M$s grand debugging idea -- get the punters to debug their software.

Usually, the fault reporting asks for permission before sending a fault report. Even if you agreed to send the report, it won't immediately help you anyway.

Next time you get the BSOD (blue screen of death) make a note of the few lines at the top of the screen -- usually, the driver that the fault occurred within is displayed. With that information, we can help you track down the error to something specific and hopefully get your XP working properly!

Could it be anything to do with having my laptop networked to my pc whilst I'm online?
I'm able to play online and at the same time using the same ADSL connection  surf the net or receive messenger messages.
Could one IP address be conflicting with the other ?
or would they both be the same as they are using the same ADSL line?

in any case I'll try playing tonight with just my pc to see if it's that.
