i have got the 1.32 patch but when i go to join a game i get the message
not correct cd code can anyone help  :oops:

kind of gives an idea as to what to do.. i'm about to d/l install the patch so i'll let you know if i get the same problem

As I said in ADSLGuide, there's a bug with RTCW. It seems to drop the last block of characters off the serial number occasionally!!!

Just have to go back into your game, re-enter the code.

Trying to find the fix now.....

Right, finally found that possible fix.

In your RTCW/Main folder should be a file called RTCWKEY

Make sure it contains your COMPLETE code, and then make the file read-only.
This should stop the system from 'losing' the last 2 characters.

Haven't had a problem since I did this.
