Stuck in the Single Player game

Can anyone identify with this crashing issue I have please.

The mission after Omaha, you defend a house - front and back, then you go looking for Flak cannons I think. Anyway, a patrol is camping by a couple of tanks, and having seen them off, then theres a split in the road.
I think that straight down leads to a cannon, but as soon as I get 20 yards down the road the whole program crashes on me.
(If you turn right theres another farmhouse and a couple of snipers to clear before you get told to find a radio and call an airstrike)

I've tried going back a save or two, but it always goes in the same position.

I've tried a relaod of the game and still no good.

I'll never finish the SP game unless I can get it to behave itself.

Any ideas please.

A reinstall would be the best I think.
Specially if the game crashes at the same spot evry time.
If the problem is still there after the reinstall, better contact EA, they might know something for it.

Apart from my misspelling - I meant reload to be a 're-install from CD' - which hasn't helped.
I guess I wanted to know if anyone else got this problem  - especially under XP.

I`ve experienced the same problem.  I`ve completed the game but regularly have a single player dabble, when I can`t get a connection.(All fixed now tho )

Mine would just crash( & still does) at around the same point you describe...having dealt with the axis and making your way down the road to the next stage.

I`m running WinMe...I think a re-instal maybe the solution
