woz going on???

for the second time in two days i've had to give up playing on hamster 5. plays alright & then suddenly my gun points at the sky & rattles off all/most of the clip. this happens over & over again    

is it lag? cos if it is i've never had anything like it before. packet loss?? usually you just skate around a bit.

when it happened last night there were a load of germans on the server. when they pushed off it was all hunky dory again.

any ideas?

Packet loss by the sounds of it cookie. Boot the Germans off - I always have problems with them if they're on DSL. A Dutch guy said much the same to me - apparently their DSL network makes BT's look like the best thing since sliced bread

small problem. i 'spose i can boot them, but i'd have to know who the problem is.

another problem: i don't actually know HOW to do anything on the server. is there an admin for dolts book?

Yeah, the german national network is not their most efficient technological achievement. In fact it makes BT.net look good!

i'm very happy to hear they screw SOME things up   what with their cars, beer, railways etc. all being so great.

it's a horrible thought though eh? bt are not the worst
