sorry jon i didnt get back until late sat night then got stuck at work all day sunday because my scooter if of the road.

we noticed

we ended up with 4 of us against the AI.. 4v4 on 'normal' folllowed by a _very_ quick game with 4v4 on hard   The 4v1v1v1v1 on hard ended up with the AI wiping each other out (lol) and  we then settled on a couple of 4v2v2 on hard which wasn't as easy as the 4v4 on normal, but probably still a bit too easy..

I don't know what people think about what they want out of the online MP - is it worth setting up a mini ladder between us all and playing pvp?

Setting the AI on hard is the only way to go - any higher is too hard and any lower is way too easy. Also, 4 v 4 is the best match, although 4 v 3 would be OK. If you go 4 v 2 AI v 2 AI then it's just too easy because the AI players fight it out and do all the hard work for you.

When you go 4v4 all the AI usually pick on a single human player and send everything they've got at them which makes for some frantic games - always build a backup base!

PvP sounds good - I'd be up for that.
