Spawn killers/TK'ers/cheaters/whatever

All incidents of the above nature should be reported to:

a) the server owner as listed below
b) one of the core admins if it's hamsterserver1

We do not want to see any more posts in here giving player names or IP addresses. We will delete them and any replies to them should any appear in future.

Reason : there are 711 registered users of these boards and we do not have a clue who most of them are. For all we know some of you could be people who can't take a beating and then maliciously post "this guy was spawn killing/TK'ing/whatever". We would hope that this is not the case but we're not taking the chance.

For future reference here is our recommended procedure for reporting incidents of a dodgy nature :

(i) if there's an admin on the server report anything dodgy to him;
(ii) if not and it's not too serious then make a note of the player's name try and take some screenshots and note the time/date as it helps us when reading logs;
(iii) if it is serious then leave the game and go to irc.quakenet.org #hamsterserver and tell somebody there what's going on. Do not just come in, say hi and leave if you get no response after a minute or so! State what is going on and then leave if you want - most of us have logs so if we're away for a bit then we'll still see your message;
(iv) after you have finished playing then Private Message the server owner or one of the core admins as appropriate with the details of what went on.
