ADSL Down

Sob sob my ADSL connection has been lost and I stuck with the old 56k modem for what seems like an eternity, my downloads have gone through the roof.....erm meant to say ping

No more IPStream for me though, DataStream connection here I come but looking to the future already and want a LLU connection now.

My ADSL connection has been terminated but I have no idea when the official "cease" date is anticipated...BT refuse to carry out any work at the exchange until such a time, me curses Pipex for not sorting out the cease date/termination date to hit simultaneously.

Once the line is clear testing can begin on the line quality, could actually turn out that the old cooper cables are not up to scratch and I might not be able to achieve the 2Mb download speed (distance is fine <300metres to exchange).

I will be phoning all parties tomorrow to have long old moan.
