It's not finished, although a lot of stuff is done. To me, it's just like SWG was apart from.... Creature Handler isn't finished (and a few other bits). Which is a shame because that was my favourite role alongside Teras Kasi. You can tame creatures but not use them in PVP/PVE. That will come at some point. All in all though I think the dev's have done an awesome job in re-creating pre-CU SWG.
There's a few of us Hamsters on Basilisk server - you should get on board!

Last post by Undergrid - June 18, 2014, 10:33:24 AMSo I've been having a bit of a problem when I buff people. When I apply a buff pack, I get the following three messages (or similar, I can't remember the exact wording):
Each message is separated from the previous by a few seconds.
I thought nothing of it until I attempted to use Havla, a food that speeds up your Heal Recovery Reduction (reduces time between heals or buff packs) when the second message turned into:
Worse, the buff pack I was using (which of course happened to be the most expensive I had) had it's use count reduced by two!
So I've been asking around some other doctors and last night got an answer. I generally have two chat windows open, one for Spatial and one for Guild Chat, and this apparently causes the double application of buff packs.
So when you're out there cursing some Graul or Squill (or in some cases kreetle, not naming any names) for attacking you, remember it's the ui that's attacking us docs.
- You have enhanced <target>'s <stat> by <value>
- You must wait before you can apply another enhancement.
- You can now apply another enhancement.

Last post by Undergrid - June 16, 2014, 11:13:27 AMI would only take two shots of brandy (with 50 filling or less) and wait till it's run out or about to run out before taking more. If you keep topping it up as soon as you can you will end up with a huge mind buff but you could end up later with the equivalent of only one shot of brandy on your stats but are unable to drink more because of a full stomach.
Of course Brandy does stack with a mind buff too and there are always entertainers in Mos Eisley cantina willing to buff your mind.

Last post by RichardWhitely - June 16, 2014, 07:49:56 AMBuffs from food/drink stack! So you can drink brandy two or three times and you end up with a massive mind bar. Of course you have to wait until the drink/food meters go down so you can drink more, but if you get a brandy with a fill of 49 that means you can take two gulps right away and then keep trying every 10 or 15 mins to drink more and end up with a stupidly large mind bar. Of course this also means with increased brandy consumption you might die with liver failure but you only live once right?

* 2235 for 2hr 47 mins - 6k each (Yeah, they are that damn expensive but it's server cap right now)
Add 500cr if I need to use a Bivoli just for you (or subtract a few points).

Obviously HamsteR guild members will get buffs at cost (since I'm buying rather than making buff packs), which are:
* for 1900 ish if I'm not already buffing, or 2135 if I am buffing or if there are a group of HamseR's requiring buffs: 2.5k each
* for 2135 if I'm not buffing (and have to use a portion of Bivoli just for you): 3k each
Yeah, Bivoli's expensive but it usually averages out over a bunch of buffs and you don't get the custom if you can't match the numbers.
Each buff runs for 2 hours 38 mins and right now, since droid modules don't work, have to be applied in a med center.
