:D
t'was good fun - i jumped straight into mp with paul without reading the manual, and got thoroughly panned by nasty orcs a couple of times, but once we dropped it down to n00blike difficulty, i got to play with some units including a very very funky baneblade :)
On top of the imperial guard (with whom i am very much looking forward to learning to play properly) there is an extra unit for each of the existing DoW racetypes - a chaplain for the marines, armoured nobs for the orcs, fire dragons for the eldar and berzerkers for chaos. they're all pretty much 'standard' 40k troop types, i guess now i know why they were never included in the original. If you enjoyed DoW i can thoroughly recommend the expansion from a multiplayer point-of-view, won't have chance to try the single player for a while yet so can't comment on that ;)
I also procured a fully legal copy of "Grrr, it's really cold and do we really have to go and roll in the snow with the enemy?".
