It is more than a month now so time for another MOHAA revival I think.
Anybody intrested in some OBJECTS to defend/attack?
Please inform if you wanna play and what day (weekday) and which maps you prefer.
Hopefully |Fury| or Col can arrange the maps and schedule them than.

Bastogne is a POS imho, but with people who know how to play, the gameplay is awesome, thats my only comment, i dont remember half of them.... I'll have a gander tonight and see what i can come up with...

- Sherman Hunt

Shall we work with the standard MohAA maps, or does anyone have preference to the maps they want to use.

Check the list |fury| posted 4 posts above your post for the map list, and yes it should be handfull to have a place to download those maps ;-)

Anyhow I still couldnt tell you a preference I play BF1942 and Desert COmbat. Not really played MOH So whatever you lot decide post links to the required maps. Would be much easier than having to go look for them :D

I've been digging through some of the crap on my hard drive, and between now and 23:59 on Thursday, it may be possible to find some, all or none of the maps on |fury|'s list at: http://web.ciderspace.org.uk/~mohaa/

If any of these are out of date, I'm sure someone will let me know.  It's hosted on a DSL line so don't all leech at once! (and if you do know of an alternative download location feel free to use it in preference to this one)

well for axis anyway, 3 hours of running just to get shot is not really my idea of fun TBH!!

Not that Im playing or anything, just thought I'd have a shout anyway!!

I personally don't see what the problem with bastogne is. You get a good chance of winning on either side, as long as you work together  :roll:

Its just the fact that in my experience of the map, everyone goes allies, leaving a few outnumbered krauts, generally including myself, to try and storm a well fortified base with a lot of enemy in good positions oh and thats after a 50 mile trek to get there.

Oh and you always get one nobhead who makes it down behind the axis spawn and rips hell out of them for about 5 mins, gets 15 kills before he is taken out!!

Its got some nice features, but its deffo not one of my faves.

i would say that anyone behaving like that tomorrow will get kicked, but i know i won't have to worry about it :D

P-Dub abandons previous battle plan, and formulates a frontal assualt theory with Zets, Archos and Devastating Gazes......

Damnit, wrong game...... i guess its back to lob grenades and run like hell then...... :D

Whats that map where the Axis spawn in a Building, its snowy and the Allies spawn at the other side of some snow banks..... Theres also a roof where the axis can sit and snipe, below that roof is a nice static machine gun... cos thats a good map... :D lol

I guess i better grab those tonight, and get some practice in....

Just to clear up for P. Dub.

Before Spearhead was released there was a competition for map designers to make maps and send them in, the top 12 maps would be included with spearhead (cheap gits at EA getting others to do their work for em!!) but there was a map called A German Winters Night, which was added to spearhead and called Gewitter.

Allies have to demolish a Flakk 88 under a bridge, then climb some staris at the right of the bridge and enter a compound to blow a second Flakk cannon. Bloody hard to attack, but a good map.

german winters night is a pointless obj map in its original form - the second flak is right next to the defender's spawn point - how on earth you're supposed to get it without spawn camping is beyond me  :chunter:

Bugger, both my discs have cracks in although one of them still ran the game. Then I had to format my hd :evil:  and of course can not install the game with only one disc, bah.  I shall have to buy it again. :cry:

Yeah i had fun for the little time i was on just sorry i had to go i felt like crap, hope we do it again and play tdm map's even tough last night ended up being tdm on obj map's

Was good fun, but had to pull out prematurely....now where have I heard that before.
