I've removed the code that automatically made the forums full-width when using the 'thex-green' (default) theme. Up at the top of the forum pages, you should now see a 'minimze' or 'mazimize' button with which you can set your own preference.

yeah, shame it knocks the top bit off, but you can't have everything ;)
some of the other improvements:
- theme-specific rank images 8)
- you can now actually see the smilies in the smilies popup
- the funky collection of buttons just above and below the thread
- more buttons in the quick reply section
- forums can now contain other forums (not that we use that functionality)
- forum announcements section (currently disabled)
- new template processing engine, allowing for (hopefully) faster page rendering
- *loads* of extra administration options
