Note that this is not Jolt - I rented a Barryserver by myself today.
You will all get your refunds for the Jolt server once I get confirmation that Jolt have done the chargeback on my card. If they choose to fight it then you're in the same boat I am - but they haven't a hope in hell of winning :lol:
I may be looking for people to help with the cost of the Barryserver - that is yet to be decided. If I do choose to take this route then I will invite people to contribute and all the rules/conditions/etc will be upfront - you agree or you don't. I made some serious mistakes with the way I went for the Jolt server and I do not intend to repeat them.
Anyway - come have some fun tonight. I realise I'm screwing Spikey's RTCW night, but I'm sure we can make amends tomorrow night by having the server run RTCW :lol:
PS - Hamster1 will be down if I'm playing - don't want to spoil these sub-20ms pings :wink:

Just been playing on Ham5 -- it's bought a new meaning to the phrase free-for-all. Blown away left right and centre. FFA suits me fine though, soon rose up through the scoreboard :P

Ummm, can you block users? A guy called Casablanca was spawnkilling galore today. I tried to get him to stop by posting loads of times "STOP spawnkilling Casablanca!!" but he didnt seem to care :cry: :cry: :cry:

Sadly that does appear to happen. Ham5 is at the moment full of spwan spot campers. No fun :( I could kick them all, but why bother. Now if Rizla could just add 30-40ms to the ping times to put all the bastards off.
Excellent server :lol: , as with others I found a lot of spawn killing :x , but this could of been down to the number playing. As soon as you spawned you were in a fight and this wasn't deliberate as both mOrpheen and Arathrael did it on occasion. Be excellent for clan matches and general TB mayhem though. :lol:

Great objective matches tonite, love to know how Scarface got on the church roof, good sniping spot :) The Deathmatches were mad, especially Remagen, it was a nightmare with the spawning especially near the starting point of the map, it was a case of run like fuck before someone spawns behind you and kills you. Good Game 8) :lol:
He got on the roof with the help of a friend. There's a wall of the church which is half destroyed. About half way across, there's a window you can't quite jump up to. He got a friend to crouch in front of it, then jumped up onto his mate, then onto the top of the broken window, then jumped up onto the roof.
Took him quite a few attempts, but made interesting viewing!!
He was a PITA.
He spent ages trying to do it on numerous occasions on his own while the gun was being destroyed by the enemy. :x

Re Spawnkilling!
I can understand spawning and getting into a fire fight straight away, but this guy was sniping the spawns. THAT is deliberate, not down to any amount of users. As soon as we went onto snowy park, the guy bolted as he couldnt camp at a spawn point! LOL :lol: :lol: :lol:

If they agree to put them on then I'll get the map pack over to Skid and he can put it up somewhere for you all to download. It weighs in at about 23MB and some of you will already have some of the maps. Worth downloading though as there's multiple versions of The Farm out there - this one has v1.7.
