As you've got 5 servers Hamsters, could you tell me the cheapest, and the best servers to rent :?:

Thanks,

RichardWhitely

Well most of them are hosted from our own ADSL lines - apart from hamsterserver 1 & 2 which are rented from barrysworld. We were originally going to go with jolt, but if you have a hunt around in the news forum you can see the bother we had with them.

Barrysworld appear to be the best of the lot, we got a huge range of games to choose from and a pretty good booking system that allows us to have complete control over what runs on the server at specific times.

Full list of barryservers are here

We rent the most expensive barryserver (Type C) at ÃÆ'ââ,¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ,£120 a month, this includes the cost of making it a public server, the higher 20 player limit and taking away the barryserver name from the server description (though that is an optional extra).

Plus the best thing about barrysworld is within 45 seconds of you purchasing the server its up and running  :D (as long as they have severs to spare that is!)
I play games on a:
ZX Spectrum 48K | Grundig C410 cassette recorder (adjustable head) | 20BT TV Philips Multistandard Color V37cm | ZX Interface 2 | New Kempston Compatible Competition Pro Switched Joystick | Sinclair BASIC OS
