Alien Swarm

[Tricky]

It's a free Steam co-op online game based on the Unreal engine and it's very good. It's actually a top down shooter by default although a console command turns it into a FPS. I know that Col and Arathrael have it because we've played online (Col dies a lot ) but anyone else got it?

If you haven't you should get it - it's free for gawds sake!  I like the way you can plant sentry guns and stuff. Although I tend to die trying to get them up.

I've only played a few levels but I can see it gets harder - and the weapons get cooler. These big spider thingies turn up as well. And they fire fried eggs that explode when they die. It's mad.

I jumped on earlier when I saw Tricky online, accidently took a couple of points off someone else in the team, and the git deliberatly killed me.  Some people are assholes. 

Still not a bad game for nothign
